I agree, Lila, it can be very confusing knowing which one to use. The more writing you do though the more you get used to choosing the correct one. I can think of another word that sounds the same but has different meanings, "to, too and two".

I agree, these words do confuse many people - that's why I think it is really important to practice them ; ) Have you used their, there or they're in any of your writing since doing this task? Mālō e lelei Lila, it is fun looking at words and their meanings. Some really tricky ones have the same spelling and sound eg a dog can bark and the bark on a tree. Can you think of any others?
